Registered Nurse - Neuro UNIT

• Primary patient population: Our primary population is Neuro – Stroke, brain tumor removal, Neuro-surgical patients (back and neck) occ – TIA’s; EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) that is considered Step-Down level, thus 1:4 RN ratio.
• No of Beds: 43 beds
• What do we need to know about these units? 1:5 RN ratio with great CNAI support, including an additional Mobility Aids to begin soon as well as an Admission/Discharge Nurse to help with the in/out traffic.
(FULL TIME, 36 HRS/WEEK, (7P-7A)
REQUIREMENTS:
Current RN licensure in NC state and BLS required CPI certification within three months of hire required. PALS for adolescent unit preferred. Ability to care for Behavioral Health age specific patients within facility. ACLS and PALS preferred.
At least 2+ years in Nursing
At least 1 + years in a neuro unit/department
