Director Talent Acquisition and Branding

The Director of Talent Acquisition and Branding is responsible for all facets of recruitment for a diverse, complex, and multi-state business. Leading a team of TA professionals, this individual is accountable for the timely placement of top talent to support the continued success and growth of the business. They will partner with functional leaders to develop and execute a company-wide talent acquisition strategy in alignment with workforce goals. In addition, they will lead the continuous development of company's brand as an employer of choice through optimization of tools, campaigns and presence on social/professional media channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a recruiting team to develop strategic plans that deliver on workforce needs, placing top talent and promoting the brand as an employer of choice
  • Partner with functional leaders to drive strategic and tactical recruitment initiatives, identifying critical talent needs and developing pipeline programs
  • Enhance and leverage brand recognition by advertising through multiple channels, ensuring a strong social/professional media presence, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Glassdoor, Indeed
  • In partnership with Marketing, manage and oversee all employment advertising and related content; includes process design as well as content creation
  • Drive operational and process efficiency as well as continuous improvement through workflow automation and accountability model; develop and report on key metrics
  • Stay current on market trends and make proactive steps to seize opportunities and respond to market demands
  • Consult and assist with job descriptions and leveling decisions; provide oversight for offers
  • Direct recruitment for highly specialized and high-profile roles
  • Manage the recruiting budget and vendor partnerships including vendor selection, contract negotiation, vendor relations, and ROI analysis (e.g. ATS, Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, staffing agencies, schools and affiliations)
  • Drive a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding
  • Lead, coach and develop team members in support of individual and departmental goals

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in recruitment and brand management; experience in health care and/or tech preferred
  • Proven ability to build brand awareness through social channels and internal/external brand initiatives
  • Proven sourcing skills with ability to identify and attract candidates for highly niche roles with a limited budget
  • Excellent communicator with proven consultation, coaching, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience with business process design and automation
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing others
  • Tech savvy with full command of digital sourcing tools and social media sites; experience with content development and management
